Contest Winners

The time has finally come and we are able to announce the winners of the 2011 Candy Palace Writing Contest!!

The response to the contest was fantastic!  We received stories from students at eight participating schools. The decision was tough! Every student’s name and school was removed from their story before it was sent to our editorial board, consisting of professional authors from around the country, for review.  Each story was ranked, and the scores were tallied. There were so many wonderful, creative, fun stories that it took our editorial board most of the summer to carefully review and choose a winning story.

The 2011 Candy Palace Writing Contest award winners are…(Drum Roll Please!)…
